Change is Afoot... Careful Who You Follow

Sentiment is shifting as digital capital cements during this paradigm shift

A handful of people and events drive the change we see each year. IMO, over the past four or five years, Joe Rogan and Elon Musk have drastically changed the course of history through their work. It will forever been written about.

This chat below, between Rogan and Marc Andreessen is one of those annual events, people should pay attention to.

Regardless of one’s choice of “side”, Marc is someone who, when he speaks, we should listen to, assess, and evaluate what is said.

Why? Because he’s proven and he flies in the circles of those capable of pulling strings. Marc created the first internet browser and since has run one of the most successful front-of-the-curve Venture Capital firms - Andreessen Horowitz (aka a16z).

In fairness, acknowledging the truth when it’s safe and clear to do so, is a lot less admirable than doing so when there is real risk.

That’s one knock against Zuckerberg’s recent change of heart, Marc here, and the real difference between guys like Rogan, Snowden, Assange, and Musk. Either way, this is a must-listen.

Another story you’ve likely heard is, Microstrategy. Saylor on Sqwuak Box is also a great listen. There is merit, but in my opinion, it is not riskless holding. Just look at the cycles that happen in Bitcoin.

Unfortunately, like every cycle, people will blindly buy, copy, or FOMO into a strategy they have little understanding of. It will happen, well into the top.

Like every cycle, lessons will be learned and pain’s will be had. However, this is a good segment for gaining an understanding of the new form of digital capital that is now established. A paradigm shift is underway. Time in the market will be more important than timing the market.
